Good morning and happy Saturday!

It’s a cool and cloudy start to the weekend.  We’ll continue to see patchy fog across the area through the morning.  The fog will break up this morning as a warm front pushes into the area.  This will help to pick up our southeasterly breeze, and bring in gusts around 30 mph.  Temperatures will finally be above normal and climb to the mid 50s.

Along with warmer temperatures and a breezy wind, we will also see our next chance for showers.  A few thunderstorms will not be out of the question this afternoon as well.

Overnight, a cold front will sweep through the area and keep showers in the area.  Rainfall totals will be around 1-1.5 inches.  This is not enough for widespread flooding concerns, but could be enough for some isolated flooding and high water levels.

On Sunday, Daylight Saving Time begins, so remember to spring forward one hour before you go to bed.  We’ll wake up to some leftover rain showers in the morning and lows in the 40s.  As those rain showers wrap up, we’ll be left with a partly sunny sky and breezy westerly wind.  Temperatures will fall from the upper 40s at midnight to mid 40s in the afternoon.

Clouds will start clearing out as we head into the beginning of the workweek thanks to high pressure.  That means chilly temperatures in the mid 20s to 30 degrees on both Monday and Tuesday.  Thanks to some afternoon sunshine, temperatures will rebound to the mid 50s, which is about 5 degrees below normal for this time of the year.

A few showers will be back in the forecast on Tuesday night and Wednesday night.  Temperatures on Wednesday will jump from around 30 degrees in the morning to the mid 50s.

Rain showers will pick up on Thursday as another cold front moves through.  Thursday will be the warmest day of the week with high temperatures in the 60s.

Enjoy your weekend!
