It’s been a typical early August weekend, featuring very warm temperatures around 90 degrees, moderate humidity, and isolated late-day showers. The weather turned out to be ideal for the Dublin Irish Festival and the final weekend of the Ohio State Fair, other than a bit toasty.
A disturbance will break down a high-pressure heat ridge starting on Monday, bringing scattered late-day storms, followed by more widespread rain on Tuesday–just like last week, on our favorite day for rain all summer!
A cold front will cross the state by midweek, bringing a pattern change to lower humidity and slightly cooler weather.
