Another summer-like weekend, while we await the remnants of Florence. Florence was downgraded to a tropical depression before sunrise Sunday, and has turned north, trekking in the direction of the upper Ohio Valley.
The remnant circulation center will parallel the western foothills of the Appalachians, slowly accelerating and reaching southeast Ohio early Monday. The heaviest rain (1-3 inches) will fall east of the storm’s path, mostly in eastern Ohio, western Pennsylvania and West Virginia late tonight through Monday evening.
Summer-like warmth will return in the wake of Florence, though not quite as warm as the past three days. Another opportunity for rain will come on Friday with a sagging cold front.
Tonight: Clouds thickening, rain by dawn. Low 68
Monday: Periods of rain, breezy. High 73 (69)
Tuesday: Partly sunny. High 82 (66)
Wednesday: Partly sunny High 82 (65)
Thursday: Mostly sunny, warm. High 85 (65)
Friday: Scattered showers, storms. High 82 (68)
Saturday: Showers linger early, cooler. High 78 (64)
Have a good weekend! -Ben
