Though we still have some of the effects, including a southerly flow of air and mainly clear skies, the large area of high pressure is now centered well to our east this morning. Low pressure in the plains will head slowly into the Great Lakes region. An associated cold front will move slowly into our region. Rain showers with a chance of thunderstorms will arrive much earlier, by late this afternoon. The high will be near 80.
Showers and thunderstorms will move through the region tonight. Some strong storms will be possible mainly before midnight. Gusty storm winds will be the primary threat before the activity shifts to the east before daybreak. Lows will be in the mid to upper 50s.
Showers with isolated thunderstorms will continue Thursday, tapering off in the afternoon. It will be unseasonably cool and breezy. Highs will only be 65 to 70. Friday will be a nice albeit cool day with sunshine and highs in the mid-70s.
Have A Great Day!
