High pressure over the eastern Great Lakes will keep our weather dry and pleasant overnight, with patchy clouds in a dry northerly flow.
Monday will start off dry and mostly clear, but clouds will thicken later in the day, and a few showers could pop up in the evening. An unseasonably potent system will arrive tomorrow night and Tuesday, bringing showers and storms, with some heavy rain, followed by the passage of a strong cold front later in the day.
The latter half of the workweek will be unusually pleasant for late August, which will feel like September for several days! Highs will be in the 70s and lows in the 50s.
