FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good morning and happy Saturday!
It’s going to be a beautiful day to stop by the NBC 4 studio to drop off new backpacks and school supplies for the stuff the backpack campaign, or any of the fairs or festivals going on in the area.
Thanks to high pressure moving into the Great Lakes and Ohio valley, we’ll stay under a mostly sunny sky. This will help temperatures quickly jump to a high in the upper 80s, like yesterday.
Tonight, we’ll stay under a mostly clear sky and temperatures will drop back to the mid 60s.
On Sunday, we’ll stay under a partly cloudy sky with highs again in the upper 80s.
The warm and mostly sunny weather will continue on Monday with a low in the mid 60s and high in the upper 80s.
On Tuesday, we’ll start off warm and muggy. More clouds will build in through the afternoon as highs climb near 90 degrees.
Then, a cold front will move across the area. This will bring us some much needed rain and help to cool down temperatures.
The chance for rain will continue as another front moves through. The chance for showers and storms will remain in the forecast on Wednesday and Thursday as temperatures only reach the low to mid 80s.
Enjoy your weekend!
