We are starting with patchy dense fog. High pressure centered in the Great Lakes is building into our region today. That means less cloud cover and more fair skies through the day, possibly some patchy morning fog, and dry weather. Skies will become mostly sunny today with the afternoon high near 80. Expect just a few leftover clouds and a breeze from the northeast. The temperatures will dip to within a few degrees of 60. It will be a brighter and slightly warmer day tomorrow. Highs will be into the low 80 again.
Saturday most showers will linger around and south of the Ohio River though a little disturbance west will give us a slight chance of showers or storms Saturday through early Sunday. There will also be a chance of scattered pop-ups later on Sunday. Monday a cold front will bring showers and thunderstorms through the region. It will be dry and cooler Tuesday and Wednesday after the front.
