BREAKING: Wanted Ohio soccer coach captured in Okaloosa County

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — An Ohio soccer coach wanted on child sex charges has been captured in Okaloosa County after being on the run for nearly two months. 

Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has taken 41-year-old Justin Smith into custody at a townhome on Clifford Street near Fort Walton Beach Friday evening. 

He is accused of having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl. 

He has been on the run since Halloween, his whereabouts unknown for months until authorities got word he was in the area for the last couple of weeks, according to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office. 

He is currently behind bars in Okaloosa County Jail.
