Jones, a fifth-round pick by the Bengals in the 2012 NFL draft, played for the Lions from 2016-20. He enjoyed some of the best years of his career with the franchise, appearing in a total of 69 games for Detroit and recording 36 touchdowns.
He spent the 2022 season with the Jaguars. He appeared in 16 games for Jacksonville last year, catching 46 passes for 529 yards and three touchdowns. It was his least productive season since 2018, when he was limited to just nine games due to injury.
Now, the 33-year-old is in line for his second stint with the Lions after spending two seasons away from the franchise.
