COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Ohio State expressed concerns about depth along its offensive line heading into the 2019 season, and Monday the Bucks got some news which could help calm their concerns.

Rutgers guard/center Jonah Jackson announced via his Twitter account he will transfer to Ohio State for his senior season. Jackson started every game this past season and was named All-Big Ten honorable mention despite playing on one of the worst teams in the nation.

Jackson is from Media, PA and was reportedly also considering Oklahoma for a transfer location. As a senior transfer, Jackson will be immediately eligible at OSU.

In January, Jackson told NJ.com why he was considering a transfer, saying he “wanted to branch out and see what else is out there for me.”
