As the Urban Meyer investigation continues, the football program and its players remain off-limits to reporters. However, Tuesday morning the Buckeye football practice opened to reporters for a brief time at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
OSU says 110 players are in camp this year, and the practices are led by interim head coach and offensive coordinator Ryan Day. It’s also the coaching debut for former OSU and NFL receiver Brian Hartline, who is now working as the Buckeyes receivers coach.
Wednesday the Buckeyes will practice in full pads for the first time as their training camp intensifies.
OSU opens its season September 1st against Oregon State. You can see the full schedule here.
