Ohio State freshman Marcus Hooker charged with DUI in Pennsylvania

NESHANNOCK TWP., PA (WCMH) – Ohio State freshman defensive back Marcus Hooker is facing a DUI charge after a traffic stop in Pennsylvania earlier this month.

New Castle News first reported that Marcus James Hooker, 18, was pulled over by Neshannock Township police in Pennsylvania. He was charged with driving under the influence, disregarding traffic lane, careless driving, no rear lights and purchase of alcoholic beverage by a minor.

According to court records, Hooker’s BAC registered between .10 and .16.

Marcus Hooker is the younger brother of former Buckeye Malik Hooker. He committed to Ohio State last year as a three-star recruit.
