COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Former Ohio State Football Coach Urban Meyer made a seven-year-old girl’s day when he responded to her question.
Hannah Lucas wrote a note to the Buckeyes asking whether the ‘circles’ on the helmets of the players are stickers. She also wanted to know who chooses how many stickers a player gets.
Hannah’s father, Jack Lucas, took a picture of her note and tweeted it to the Ohio State football team.
Urban Meyer responded to the message, saying, “They are stickers and each one means the player did something really good to help the Buckeyes win! Thanks for being a fan, Hannah!! Go Bucks!”
Meyer’s response got a little more attention than Jack expected when he tweeted the photo.
“So, um, pretty excited to pick Hannah up from school today and show her some tweets. :-)” said Jack.
