Blue Jackets, NBC4 team up for official Game 5 watch party at Nationwide Arena

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — The Columbus Blue Jackets and NBC4 will host a CBJ Playoff Watch Party at Nationwide Arena on Saturday when the Eastern Conference Semifinal series against the Bruins returns to Boston.

While the team is on the road for Game 5, fans can gather at the home of the Blue Jackets to watch the game televised on NBC4 on the arena’s video board.

Before the game, you can watch the NBC4i digital pre-game Road to the Cup special with NBC4 sports director Jerod Smalley reporting live from Boston on the video board.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and puck drop is at 7:15 p.m. on NBC4. Admission is $5 and part of the proceeds benefit the Columbus Blue Jackets Foundation.

The watch party will feature a game-like atmosphere featuring arena music, in-game entertainment and traditional goal celebrations complete with cannon fire. The concession stand will be open for food and drink sales. 

Seating is general admission and all ages are welcome.

Children under the age of two do not require a ticket. Arena District parking garages will offer a discounted rate of $5.
