DAYTON, OH (WDTN) – The race for governor of Ohio makes a stop in Dayton Thursday. Both candidates are holding town hall meetings at the Dayton International Airport.
The Town Hall meetings are all about the business community.
The Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the event. It’s an opportunity for Chamber members to hear directly from candidates about business issues.
Attorney General Mike DeWine and Richard Cordray will speak separately with question and answer sessions following each presentation.
Democratic candidate Cordray’s staff says he will talk about supporting homegrown small business, investing in infrastructure and improving skills training.
Republican candidate DeWine will likely highlight the jobs plan he released this week. DeWine’s plan also focuses on building skills as well as investing in new research and streamlining business regulations.
The event begins here at 10 am.
We’ll have a crew here keeping you updated on the candidates as well as the impression from Dayton’s business community.
