COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH)–For the past month, the Harmony Project has been searching for the Voice 4 Columbus. The field has narrowed 200 registrants, to a Top 26, then down to the Top 10 and now the Final Four.
The fourth contestant in the Final Four has been revealed. DeMeeshia Marshall is one step closer to being the Voice 4 Columbus. The 23-year-old has been singing since she was a child–in fact, she was 5 years old when she performed her first solo. Her start was in gospel. but DeMeeshia sings everything from pop to opera.
“I’m not restricted to one,” she said. “There are so many sounds so many things you can do. Even if it’s country, I’ve sung country stuff. Of course, I’m not a country singer but I like the music too. So, I just sing it the way I know how.”
Friday on NBC4 Today we will have the Final Four in studio as well as David Brown, Founder of Harmony Project and Voice 4 Columbus.
