COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Police are investigating after a woman was shot on the south side of Columbus.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, at about 1:46am, officers were called to Grant Medical Center on the report of a victim from a shooting. 

When officers arrived on scene, they found Tasha M. Marshall, 33, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. 

Marshall was listed in critical but stable condition. 

Police say an altercation took place at the Shell gas station at Lockbourne Road and S.R. 104, and continued onto Bellevue Avenue where Marshall was shot in the head as she was riding as a passenger in her friend’s car. 

Police have arrested Larry Wiliams Jr., 19, in connection to the shooting and have charged him with felonious assault.

Police continue to search for another suspect, Benjamin P. Stevens, 18, who is also facing felonious assault charges out of the shooting.
