U.S. & World

Yadavwadi, INDIA (NBC News) — Rescuers saved a leopard from drowning after the animal fell into a 30-foot well in a village in India.

The leopard managed to first climb onto a wooden step ladder secured by the rescuers.

Rescuers then lowered a cage down into the well and waited.

Once the leopard got into the cage, rescuers quickly shut the door and pulled it back to the surface.
