U.S. & World

MARIN COUNTY, CA (NBC News) — Police were trying to help get a baby deer out of the road when it jumped into the back of a patrol car.

Take a look at the above video of the adorable fawn.

The fawn was first seen sitting in the middle of a road while its mother looked on nervously from nearby.

Concerned citizens were able to stop traffic in an attempt to save the little baby.

After sheriff’s deputies arrived, the fawn decided to hop in their patrol car and take a look around.

The fawn managed to get over the center console of the car and leap onto the front passenger seat before stumbling out the door.

Deputies were then able to scoop up the deer and bring it back to its waiting mother.
