Two injured in Hilltop neighborhood shooting

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Two people were injured Thursday evening after shots were fired in a Hilltop neighborhood.

It happened around 8:25pm in the area of South Richardson Avenue and Sullivant Avenue.

Two people were taken to Mount Carmel West Hospital in stable condition.

Police say the victims, no identified as 25-year-old Carrington Sunderland and 28-year-old Ryan Foy, were both hit in the legs.

They are both expected to recover.

According to police, they were standing in front of a residence on the 400 block of S. Richardson Avenue, when three men approached them. Two of the suspects pulled out guns and fired at them.
