MANATEE COUNTY, FL (SNN) A Florida Goodwill received a very unusual donation last Saturday that caused quite a scare: a very realistic toy grenade launcher.

Goodwill Manasota says an unknown donor dropped off the Airsoft grenade launcher at one of their branch stores on January 27 and the following day, it ended up at one of Goodwill’s bargain barns in Bradenton.

Employees called the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office to dispose of it.

The device is a toy Airsoft replica of the military’s M203 grenade launcher, made by ICS Airsoft in Taiwan. The toy grenade found in the Airsoft launcher shoots multiple pellets.
