NEW YORK (WCMH) — TIME magazine puts the issue of family separation squarely at President Donald Trump’s feet in a cover released Thursday.

The image of a crying immigrant child — a cutout from a Getty Images picture from photographer John Moore that has come to represent the ongoing border crisis — is juxtaposed next to the president, who is looking down at the girl. The words “Welcome to America” stand white against a red background.

The cover comes a day after the president signed an executive order to stop his administration’s policy of separating immigrant children from their families at the U.S. border.

The magazine said on Twitter that there has been “a reckoning” after the border separation policy, and asks “what kind of country are we?”
