COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Forget about the love boat. A new study says you could find true love in the air.
British bank HSBC claims one in every 50 airplane passengers meets the love of their life while flying on an airplane.
The results came from interviews with 2,100 people from more than a 100 countries. Over half of airplane passengers say they struck up a conversation with a stranger on a plane, and that conversation turned into a date for one in every 50 people.
The survey claims as long as you’re considerate and respectful, your odds of meeting your soul mate are better at 30,000 feet than a bar. It’s just a matter of figuring out which of the 107,000 daily flights that potential partner is actually flying on.
