Sheriff’s office trying to identify baby found dead in ocean

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help with identifying a baby found dead on the ocean side of Boynton Beach inlet on Friday.

A sheriff’s office news release says an off-duty firefighter found the female infant Friday afternoon while boating on the Atlantic Ocean side of the inlet.

The sheriff’s office said the infant was no more than 14 days old when her body was found.
