NEW YORK (WCMH) – A New York restaurant has introduced a new take on the chicken wing.
New York City restaurant The Ainsworth partnered with Jonathan “Foodgōd” Cheban on this ultimate high-low menu item.
The wings are brined for 12 hours, that’s one half hour per carat. They are coated with a house-made dry rub before being baked, flash fried and coated in a layer of 24-carat gold dust.
The wings cost $45 for 10.
The president of the company that owns The Ainsworth says they wanted to create something over the top that hasn’t been done before.
The wings are available at The Ainsworth in Chelsea and the East Village.
