PHILADELPHIA (WCMH) — Fire crews in north Philadelphia are battling a humongous fire at an industrial building, according to NBC10.

The building spans nearly a city block.

Fire officials say the blaze has also spread to other buildings. Firefighters are keeping their distance, as debris is flying through the air and several power lines are down.

The building formerly housed the Steele Heddle Manufacturing Complex, which manufactured textile loom accessories until it shut down in 1983, NBC Philadephia reports. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.
