Power has been restored at AMC Lennox Town Center and nearby stores and business along Olentangy River Road.

The power at AMC Theatres and nearby stores and businesses went out just after noon, but was restored before 2 p.m.

The outage caused the theatre to cancel some movie showtimes, a Lennox theatres staff member said.

Old Navy, Marshalls and Target were also impacted by the power outage. Staff members at some of the stores expected to be without power for around two hours.

American Electric Power officials sent crews to the businesses impacted along Olentangy River Road at about 1 p.m., but power had been restored when they arrived, according to an AEP spokesperson.

The cause of the power outage is unknown at this time, officials said.
