One person is dead and two more are injured after gunfire broke out at a high school football game in Florida.

According to WJXT, the shooting happened approximately 15 minutes after the game ended at Raines High School in northwest Jacksonville. Police have not yet identified the victims, but school board members and City Councilman Garett Dennis said the person who was pronounced dead was a former student at Raines High School and the two who are injured are current students at the visiting Lee High School.

Duval County Public School District officials say there was a heavy security presence at the game, with more than 50 staff and security personnel screening spectators as they came through the stadium gates with metal detectors, WJXT reports. However, the shooting happened outside the security screening area.

“This is a community issue,” Superintendent Dr. Diana Greene told WJXT. “I need parents, students to stand up. If you see something, say something.”

Police have not made any arrests at this time. School district officials will meet Saturday to discuss what security changes need to be made to ensure all students and spectators are safe.
