Parents accused of prostituting daughter plead not guilty

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQE) – The parents accused of prostituting their 7-year-old daughter pleaded not guilty Friday.

Teri Sanchez and James Stewart are accused of abusing their young daughter and making her perform sex acts with men for drugs. 

The accusations came to light when a teacher from the girl’s school sounded the alarm.

Teri is facing child abuse charges and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. 

Stewart is facing human trafficking, molestation and child abuse charges along with promoting prostitution.
