Noseless dog Sniffles hoping for forever home this holiday season

U.S. & World

With his crooked smile and noseless face, Sniffles might not be much to look at, but this senior dog is hoping to find a forever family to give a lot of love to this holiday season.

The 12-year-old dog was once a stray and is now being fostered through Florida’s Orange County Animal Services.

“He’s just a precious old man,” Michelle Wacker, a spokesperson for Orange County Animal Services, told WESH.

Sniffles’ deformity causes him to snort sometimes, and people haven’t exactly been lining up to adopt him. It’s a shame because his foster mom Genesis Diaz said he’s a great dog.

“This morning I woke up and he was at the edge of my bed, staring at me and he ran over and did a little twirl and started licking my face,” she said.

Wacker said other than the cosmetic issues, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with Sniffles.

“He’s a healthy dog, he just looks a little funny,” she told WESH.
