‘Mysterious patriot’ replacing community’s tattered flags

U.S. & World

CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (KCRA) Brand new American flags are replacing old, tattered ones in Citrus Heights, California, but no one knows who’s responsible.

Ivy Clark took down the flag outside her home after it was damaged in a big storm earlier this month.

When she walked outside on Wednesday, she noticed the barren pole was now proudly flying a brand-new American flag. Clark said she doesn’t know who is responsible for replacing Old Glory.

“I actually cried when it happened,” she said. “I want to cry now. It’s coming from a place of love and patriotism for our country.”
