A mother was charged with aggravated assault with intent to murder and cruelty after police were made aware of a video of the woman holding her 5-month-old daughter underwater.
LaQuanda Mosley reportedly recorded the video, posted it on Facebook where it was seen by thousands of people and sent the video to the child’s father, who lives out of state.
Griffin Police say they started investigating Tuesday after the child’s father called police. Officers say they are now searching to see if there are more videos that show abuse.
Mosley told police she was just trying to get the father to help her more. She also told them she suffered from anxiety.
The child is OK.
