MMA star Conor McGregor arrested for strong-arm robbery in Miami Beach

MIAI BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) – Mixed-marital arts fighter Conor McGregor was arrested and charged with strong-arm robbery in Miami Beach on Monday, WTVJ reports.

According to WTVJ, the arrest report indicates a man attempted to take a photo with McGregor while leaving the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel.

The report says that McGregor “slapped the victim’s phone out of his hand.”

It goes on to say that McGregor allegedly stomped on the phone several times, before picking it up and walking away with it.

WTVJ reports the man told police was valued at $1,000.

McGregor was located and is charged with one count of strong-arm robbery and one count of criminal mischief valued at $1,000 or more.

McGregor was previously arrested in April of 2018 after injured two fighters in a backstage melee in New York City.
