(WESH) Police in Orlando, Florida say that if it weren’t for two men, Alfredo Sanchez, 49, might have gotten away with kidnapping an 8-year-old girl from Orlando International Airport.
Sean Sherman said he was one of the two people who stopped Sanchez.
“I would say he looked bewildered. He looked very frightened. I’m not exactly sure he knew what was going on,” Sherman said.
Police said around 9:20 p.m. Saturday, close to the B side exit, Sanchez grabbed the child from behind, picked her up, and ran away with her while yelling, “This is my girl.”
Police said two heroes stepped in. Sherman said he stopped Sanchez while a second man put a cane around Sanchez’s neck and took him to the ground.
