SHERMAN, TX (WCMH) – A Texas man is behind bars, accused of stabbing a man at a movie theater during an argument over movie seats.

It happened during a screening of ‘The First Purge’ July 6.

According to police, the suspect, Bryan Morrison kept sitting in reserved spots and kept getting told to move. He eventually settled in a seat assigned to Terry Honore, KXII reported.

Honore asked Morrison to move, according to a complaint. Morrison moved but said, ‘I should be able to sit where I want,’ as he walked away.

Honore then asked if there was a problem.

“That led to a physical fight and the suspect stabbed the victim in the abdomen,”

Police said Morrison ran off. He was arrested Tuesday night.
