Heroic teacher to speak for first time following Noblesville school shooting

NOBLESVILLE, IN (WISH) — A man many are praising as a hero for his actions during a school shooting in Noblesville will speak for the first time on Monday.

Jason Seaman, 29, will address the public at a press conference after he was one of two victims shot by a student at Noblesville West Middle School on Friday.

Seaman is responsible for stopping the shooter.

The seventh grade science teacher was released from the hospital Saturday.

The suspected shooter is in custody, but officials have yet to release his name. 

Noblesville West Middle School Principal Stacey Swan and superintendent Beth Niedermeyer are also slated to be in attendance.
