MARION COUNTY, FL (WCMH) – A quick-thinking Florida deputy is credited with saving a baby’s life.
Deputy Jeremie Nix was on his way home when a woman flagged him down in the Orlando area. The woman said her three-month-old son was unresponsive and needed help, WESH reported.
Nix pulled over and tried to help. He attempted several lifesaving measures on the scene, but ultimately put the boy in his patrol car and drove to a nearby hospital.
The child survived and is expected to make a full recovery. Doctors credit Nix’s actions with saving the boy’s life.
