APPLEGATE, OR(KOBI) An Oregon man missing for three days was found alive and safe in the woods Monday.

George Gower, 69, was traveling from Brookings to Medford when he went missing Friday. His car was found crashed and abandoned on a remote road a day later.

Rescue crews eventually found Gower Monday after receiving a tip from someone who spotted him.
