IRVING, TX (WCMH) — Chuck E. Cheese says they’ll offer a “Pay Your Child’s Age Day” just one day after the Build-A-Bear fiasco.

According to Chuck E. Cheese’s Facebook page, on Friday, parents can bring their kids in and pay the child’s age for 30 minutes of All You Can Play at participating locations.

There is a $9 limit for the 30 minutes of play time.

On Thursday, Build-A-Bear had to close stores across the country after crowds of parents and children became too large for the retailer to handle.

In a post on the Build-A-Bear website, the company said they were seeing “longer than expected lines and large crowds” for the event.

Lines were shutdown at stores for safety concerns, the company said in a separate post on Facebook.
