Chick-Fil-A debuts spicy chicken strips, but only in select cities

U.S. & World

ATLANTA, GA (WCMH) — If you love spicy food, we’ve got some good news and bad news for you.

The good news? Chick-Fil-A is testing Spicy Chick-n-Strips!

The bad news? You can only get them in Philadelphia, Central Texas, South Texas, and Phoenix.

The new Spicy Chick-n-Strips are a combination of the original Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Strips and the Spicy Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich. The restaurant says they are seasoned with a spicy blend of peppers, then hand-breaded and cooked in 100 percent refined peanut oil.

Customers in Phoenix can taste test the spicy strips starting August 25. The other three metro areas will continue to test the menu item while supplies last.

The taste test will help determine if the new Spicy Chick-n-Strips are added to the menu nationwide.

“We‘re excited to hear what customers in the test markets think,” said Matt Reed from Chick-fil-A’s menu development team.
