NEW YORK (WCMH) — Alec Baldwin has agreed to don the swirly blond wig and orange spray tan for the upcoming 44th season of NBC’s Saturday night live.

Baldwin’s participation was in question after he said in an interview playing president trump was quote, “agony.”

The president shot back on twitter, saying that it’s agony for those who watched.

Baldwin won his third Emmy award in 2017 for playing trump on SNL.

According to show producer Lorne Michaels, Baldwin confirmed his return at the U.S. Open last week.
Michaels also said that Baldwin’s interpretation of the president would be a tough act for anyone else to follow.

SNL returns September 29 with “Star Wars” actor Adam Driver as the guest host.

Kanye west is slated to appear as the musical guest.
