BURLINGAME, KS (KSNT) – The 48th Annual Burlingame Rodeo Days was in town in Kansas this weekend.

The action-packed weekend kicked off Friday night. And one man was looking to have his last ride.

76-year-old Ron Snoddy took his last bull ride on Saturday.

He started his career nearly 50 years ago.

“Well they started about 48 years ago and so anyway, I rode a few bulls and stuff before, but had to quit to get married, had to make a living the other way, so now I’m back kinda enjoying myself,” Snoddy says.

When asked why he made this year his last year, he said, “Well I just, I don’t know. Age getting caught up with me I guess. 76 today and I will be 77 in July so… It’s just uncommon for it to happen.”
