A baby girl named Harper has already set foot in all 50 states, a journey that just ended in Vermont.
Her cross country feat may even land her in the Guinness Book of World Records as the youngest person to visit every state.
“We found out that she could be the youngest person to do it…so we thought why not! Let’s go for it,” said Tristan Yeats, the baby’s father.
The almost five-month journey ended in the green mountain state with a stop at the statehouse.
“Vermont was the last place in the U.S. we visited before Harper was born,” Yeats said. “But it’s nice that it’s come full circle.”
Along the way, Harper has hit some amazing milestones.
“You know, like North Liberty, Iowa, she rolled over for the first time. In Anchorage, Alaska, she ate her solids for the first time. So all of those are kind of like favorite places just because they’re memorable for our family,” said the Harper’s mother, Cindy Lim.
Harper even tried the governor’s chair on for size.
“So many people say such lovely things about Harper. I hope that she looks back and really likes seeing all of that,” Lim said.
Lim said if Guinness accepts Harper’s feat as a title they will submit evidence that their daughter has been to all 50 states.
After thousands of miles on the road and in the air, Harper is headed home to Toronto, her parents said.
