If you’ve never checked out Columbus’ food truck scene, you’re missing out.
Food trucks are a huge part of the central Ohio dining experience. From taco trucks to hibachi to gourmet grilled cheese, Columbus food trucks have it all. I asked NBC4 viewers what their favorite food trucks in the Columbus area are, and here’s what they said.
Coming in at No. 1 among NBC4 viewers is Pitabilities. This food truck fleet has been serving up great food in Columbus since 2010. Pitabilities has fresh ingredients delivered daily to their trucks so they can make the best fresh, made-to-order pitas around. Viewers not only love the food, but they also love the stellar customer service, something owner Jim Pashovich takes great pride in.
“The one thing that sets us apart is our service team,” Pashovich said. “We want you to feel important, we want you to feel like you’re the one and only.”

Schmidt’s Sausage Haus has been a Columbus staple for more than a century and with the addition of their food truck, which opened in 2012, they’ve taken 126 years of German hospitality and recipes and hit the roads of central Ohio. Get the Bahama Mama and don’t miss out on their famous jumbo cream puffs. Tap or click here for the food truck schedule.
If you’re channeling your inner Liz Lemon and need a cheese fix, be sure to stop by The Cheesy Truck. I promise, it’s not your grandma’s grilled cheese — it’s better. With nine gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, cheesy bowls and delectable sides, it’s all the cheese a person could want. Tap or click here to check out their schedule.
Hibachi on the go? Sign me up! NBC4 viewers love Blasian Grill for the food, portion sizes, service and prices. Make sure you try the Yum Yum sauce. Tap or click here for their schedule.
Mojo Tago has been bringing fresh Mexican-inspired food to the streets of central Ohio since 2010. Viewers love their gourmet tacos, which come in at a very reasonable price point. Tap or click here to check out their schedule and make sure to stop by their truck at the Columbus Food Truck Festival in August.
