CENTRAL OHIO (WCMH) — The weather is getting warmer and that means music festival season is finally here!

Whether you love country, rock, punk, alternative or EDM, there’s a music festival for everyone this year in central Ohio. Here are eight that you won’t want to miss, in chronological order:

Sonic Temple Art and Music Festival

When: May 17 – 19

Where: Mapfre Stadium, Columbus

Replacing Rock on the Range, the Sonic Temple Art and Music Festival is bringing in some big names this year. System of a Down, Disturbed and Foo Fighters will be headlining, and smaller, but still well-known names like the Interrupters, The Distillers and more will also be performing. Camp Anarchy

When: May 31 – June 2

Where: Legend Valley, Thornville

Nelsonville Music Festival

When: June 6 – 9

Where: Robbins Crossing Village, Nelsonville

Buckeye Country Superfest

When: June 8

Where: Ohio Stadium, Columbus

Put on your cowboy boots and grab your hat because Buckeye Country Superfest is returning to Ohio Stadium on June 8.  Country superstars George Strait, Blake Shelton and Chris Janson will take over the Shoe after the festival was canceled last year. Tickets are still available at  

Outlaw Music Festival

When: June 23

Where: Nationwide Arena, Columbus

New to central Ohio this year, the Outlaw Music Festival is bringing the original outlaw himself, Willie Nelson, to Nationwide Arena. This is one festival folk music lovers won’t want to miss. Inkcarceration Music and Tattoo Festival

When: July 12 – 14

Where: Ohio State Reformatory, Mansfield

WonderBus Music & Arts Festival

When: Aug. 17 – 18

Where: On the lawn at CAS, Columbus

New in Columbus this year, WonderBus is bringing some of the biggest alternative bands to central Ohio this August. The two-day festival will have performances by Walk the Moon, The Revivalists, X Ambassadors and more and will benefit the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. Breakaway Music Festival
