Few food experiences in life stack up to indulging in an amazing burrito. Luckily, Columbus has some stellar places for you to get your burrito fix.

I asked NBC4 viewers what their favorite locally owned places to get a burrito are, and here’s what they said:

Senor Antonio’s

Owner Antonio Moreno grew up in Jalisco, Mexico and has been working in the restaurant business since he was just 16 years old. Moreno opened Senor Antonio’s in 2000, and most of the recipes on the menu were handed down from Moreno’s grandmother. Viewers love the signature Burrito Antonio (grilled chicken breast, onions, tomatoes, and green peppers inside a tortilla, topped with sour cream, green and red salsa and smothered in cheese sauce).

Cuco’s Taqueria

Located on Henderson Road, Cuco’s Taqueria is hands-down a Columbus favorite. The restaurant started off as a Mexican grocery store with a small counter and has evolved into one of the best Mexican restaurants in the Columbus area. Viewers recommend the Burrito Don Cuco: grilled chicken, chorizo, refried beans and rice stuffed in a flour tortilla and covered with cheese sauce and pico de gallo.

El Ranchito Taqueria

This family-owned restaurant is one of the hidden gems on the Columbus food scene. Diners from all over rave about El Ranchito’s authentic Tex-Mex food, friendly staff and huge portions at an affordable price point. Patrons rave about the steak burritos, made with fresh flour tortillas, cheese, sour cream, beans, rice, fresh lettuce and pico de gallo.

Los Guachos

You may know Los Guachos for their stellar tacos, but they just might become your favorite burrito place too. Try a different spin on their famous Al Pastor tacos: the Guacho Burrito (a warm, flour tortilla stuffed with juicy Al Pastor, melted cheese, veggies and pineapple).

Habaneros Fresh Mexican Grill

If you’re looking for some of the best Mexican street food around, Haberneros is the place for you. Viewers rave about the freshness of the food (and it doesn’t hurt that they have a full bar either). Their burritos are huge, so you definitely get your money’s worth here. Try the barbacoa burritos; you won’t regret it.
