Thousands without power after storms move through Central Ohio

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — More than 4,600 outages have been reported in Central Ohio after storms moved through the area overnight. 

According to the AEP website, about 4,648 customers were without power as of 6am, Friday. 

That number has increased since 5am, when there was nearly 2,400 outages reported. 

AEP says they expect to restore power around 8am.
