Youngstown officers say man told them he was hit by meteorite

YOUNGSTOWN, OH (WKBN) – A man was arrested and charged with violating a protection order after he showed up at a house on Euclid Boulevard. 

According to a police report, officers were called about 10:48 p.m. Wednesday to the 4200 block of Euclid Blvd. where they found Steven Hreen, 65, at the back door of a house.  

Officers said Hreen was wearing hospital attire and had a bandage on his head. Hreen told them he was walking down Mahoning Avenue when he got hit by a meteorite, the report stated. 

Police discovered that the people living inside the house had a protection order against Hreen. 

Hreen was arrested and charged with violation of a protection order or consent agreement. He is scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
