Suspect in custody after standoff in Warren County

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, OH (WDTN) - The Warren County Sheriff's Office said Thursday afternoon the suspect wanted in connection with a Wednesday night standoff has been arrested.

Ebb Duhamel was taken into custody by Middletown Police Thursday and is now in the Warren County Jail.

Deputies were called to the 7300 block of Mentz Road in Franklin Township around 9:16 pm Wednesday on a report of vehicle theft. 

When deputies arrived, people living in the home said 30-year-old Ebb Duhamel was inside threatening others with a gun. 

Several attempts were made to communicate with Duhamel with no success. The Warren County Tactical Response Team was called to the scene. 

After several more attempts to contact Duhamel entry into the home was made and Duhamel was not found. 

Duhamel is a described as a white male 6-feet tall, 165 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Duhamel has several tattoos including some on his face.  

Duhamel is wanted for Aggravated Menacing, Inducing Panic, and Violation of a protection order.
