Sheriff’s office looking for person who threw small dog over Guernsey County Dog Shelter fence

GUERNSEY CO., OH (WCMH) — The Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a person captured on video throwing a dog over the fence of the Guernsey County Dog Shelter.

According to the sheriff’s office, the act happened Saturday, Mary 5 around 6:12am. A person pulls up in a truck and is seen throwing the dog over the 8-foot fence. 

The dog, a small breed dog, needed medical attention, according to the sheriff’s office.
